Mathew 6:19-24
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.
If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
This teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ on storing up treasures, your heart, and who we serve are light we need to take in.
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, IS EXALTED IN AMERICA. ANYONE IN ALL HONESTY CAN SEE THE PRIORITY IT TAKES IN OUR LIVES.
* We are a capitalist nation that is fueled by consumerism *
* A picture has been painted that success in America depends on what material wealth you can attain *
* The billionaire class is the show case of achievement as they buy and sell politicians and news organizations *
* Billions are spent on advertising letting us know what we need and who to vote for to boost profits for the fortune 500 *
* We have been indoctrinated to view money as a way to power, happiness, with social status *
* In our churches divine favor is linked to material wealth. There are those who will not lay hands on you for God’s blessing unless you first give $5000, $10,000, $20,000, $50,000 *
* The divided loyalty of heart is deadly to your Spiritul walk with Jesus Christ *
“IN CHRIST” we have only one master and that is God.
* Paul taught that those in the church were not to trust in uncertain riches but in God who richly gives us all things to enjoy *
JESUS COMANDS US NOT TO STORE UP TREASURES ON EARTH BUT IN HEAVEN.
THE MAIN REASON IS THAT YOUR HEART WILL BE WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS.
YOUR EYES WILL BE FULL OF LIGHT IF YOUR HEART IS IN HEAVEN.
YOUR EYES WILL BE FULL OF DARKNESS IF YOUR HEART IS ON YOUR MONEY.
HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS IF MONEY IS YOUR MASTER.
IT WILL CAUSE YOU DISPISE YOUR FATHER GOD.
* God will care for you and richly give you all things to enjoy *
Remember the words of Jesus…..
NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS.
200 years before Jesus Christ was born and by his life, death, and reserection redeemed those who believe. The prophet Isaiah speaks about Jesus as recorded in the bible.

I will keep you and make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the non-Jewish people.

To open the eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
* THE COVENANT….IF YOU BELIEVE AND TRUST HIM WITH YOUR LIFE….
* HIS LIGHT SHINES IN YOU….FOR YOU AND THROUGH YOU *
* YOUR EYES ARE OPEN SO YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY *
* NO MORE STUMBLING AND FALLING AND GROPING YOUR WAY *
* BUSTING OUT OF THE PRISON OF LIMITATIONS IMPOSED BY FEAR *
* HIS PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR IN YOUR LIFE *
* RELEASE IN YOUR LIFE FROM EVERYTHING HOLDING YOU BACK AND ALL DARKNESS LIMITING YOU IN ANY AREA OF YOUR LIFE *
JESUS IS SAYING IT IS TIME FOR FULL RESTORATION AND RENEWAL TO BRING YOU INTO THE LIFE GOD HAS ALWAYS INTENDED.

See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare;
BEFORE THEY SPRING INTO BEING, I ANNOUNCE THEM TO YOU.”
* GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND NOW HE ANNOUNCES THAT
YOUR TIME HAS COME *
VERSE 16
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do;
I WILL NOT FORSAKE THEM.
* This time of great blessing and deliverance Jesus will lead the way. You do not know the way because you have been blind to it.
The path is unfamiliar but Jesus is the guide.
The darkness will turn to light for you.
The rough places are made smooth for your sake.

this all happens because Jesus is bring you out into a wide place of safty and personal fulfillment.

* LET YOUR EYES BE OPENED TO HIS WORKING.*
JESUS CHRIST…..* THESE ARE THE THINGS I WILL DO…..
I WILL NOT FORSAKE THEM.
Why all to many “Christians” are condemned by sin and guilt? Their mouths are full of gossip and slander. Wars and feuds erupt around them and many are defiled and enticed by their own sin nature.
THE PROBLEM IS ALWAYS THE SAME……
Trying to please God in the fleshly nature by an outward show of obedience. Outward rules and ritualistic practices done, for the most part, to please people.
It is not that anyone would want their life to come out like that. I think an over emphasis on man’s rules and a lack of following the teaching and life of JESUS CHRIST leads people astray.
Going with the flow of the religious crowd is not right unless they are walking like JESUS WALKED.
Romans 8:1-4
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are “IN CHRIST” Jesus, because through Christ Jesus THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE HAS SET YOU FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, GOD DID by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND WILL NOT FULFILL THE LUST OF THE FLESH.
SET YOUR MIND ON WHAT THE SPIRIT SPIRIT OF GOD DESIRES.
SURRENDER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT EVERY MORNING IN YOUR PRAYER TIME.
“IN CHRIST” IS BEING LED BY HOLY SPIRIT.
YOU WILL SEE NEW AND GREAT VICTORIES
IN YOUR LIFE WHEN FOLLOWING HOLY SPIRIT.
YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Ephesians 4:18-24
They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality, so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.
That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him according with the truth that is in Jesus.
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
To be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

FATHER GOD……
Rescue us from this present “EVIL AGE”.
SOME PEOPLE ARE THROWING US INTO CONFUSION AND TRYING TO PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.
* These people are constantly saying they are doing what “GOD” wants done but then wickedness comes from them. *
* They preach “HATE” not “LOVE”. *
* War comes through them….not peace *
* People who need help are criminalized *
* Constant lieing becomes commonplace *
* Greed is the motivation, not “GOD” *
* Division, tribalism, are exploited *
* The selfish and malicious are exalted *
* Words are weapons against your people *
* Highest places of law exploit, not help *
* Your name is used to justify evil *
* Lawyers exploit the common good *
* The rich and powerful get their evil way *
* Sexual exploitation is enabled *
* Children are abused and corrupted *
* The resources are used for the rich *
* The leaders seek riches *
* Always corrupting the truth *
* Always leading people astray *
* They preach an evil gospel *
* It is no gospel at all, just evil, selfish *
* They rely on violence and oppression *
* Their hearts are far from you GOD *
** FATHER PLEASE RESCUE US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL AGE **

“Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the KEY TO KNOWLEDGE. You yourselves have not entered, and you have HINDERED those who were entering.”
When Jesus went outside, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to BESIEGE him with questions, waiting to catch him in SOMETHING he might say.

What do we know about the Apostle Paul?
* He was from the tribe of Benjamin *
* He was a Pharisee *
* A student of Gamaliel *
* Considered himself blameless *
* Persecuted the believers *
* A leading follower of the Law *
* Killing believers was right to him *
* Was extremely devoted to the Law *
What do we know about him after his salvation with Jesus Christ?
* He was chosen to preach the gospel to the
Non-Jewish people of the world *
* He received the message by revelation
From Jesus Christ *
* He was not taught by any man *
* Paul was sent to preach by God *
* He was not sent by man *
* He no longer tried to win man’s approval *
* He quit trying to be a man pleaser *
* He held close to Christ’s teaching *
* Paul defended the truth of the Gospel *
* He was imprisoned for preaching the
Gospel to non-Jewish people *
* Endured overwhelming persecution *
* Paul rebuked Peter openly for hypocrisy *
* Paul kept Jesus Christ’s teaching pure *
* He turned the world upside down *
* God did countless miracles through Paul *
* paul was beheaded for preaching *
God needed someone who would hold fast to the “TRUTH” he revealed through his Son.
Paul knew what the Law of Moses did in his life. He experienced all the futility of the traditions. The politics, the man pleasing, the superficial religion of being a Pharisee.
Paul said……
“BUT WHEN GOD, WHO SET ME APART FROM MY MOTHER’S WHOM AND CALLED ME BY HIS GRACE, WAS PLEASED TO REVEAL HIS SON “IN ME” SO THAT I MIGHT PREACH HIM AMONG THE NON-JEWISH
PEOPLE, MY IMMEDIATE RESPONSE WAS NOT TO CONSULT ANY HUMAN BEING. “
Paul reveals something powerful……
“THE GOSPEL I PREACH IS NOT OF HUMAN ORIGIN.”
“GO and make “DISCIPLES” of “All” Nations.”
So how do you let your INNER KINGDOM EXPRESSION LIGHT SHINE? How are going to make your STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS?
MAKING IMPACT IN THIS GENERATION FOR JESUS CHRIST WILL HAPPENS WHEN…..
YOU DO HIS TEACHING—
Matthew 7:24
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and “PUTS THEM INTO PRACTICE” is like a wise man who built his house on the “ROCK”.
YOU ARE APPROVED BY GOD—
2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one “APPROVED,” a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of “TRUTH”.
YOU PERSEVERE IN LIFE AND TEACHING
1 Timothy 4:16
Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
AIM TO BE SPECIAL FOR GOD…
2 Timothy 2:20,21
In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for “SPECIAL” purposes and some for common use.
* DO JESUS CHRIST’S TEACHING *
* AIM TO BE GOD APPROVED *
* PERSEVERE IN LIFE AND TEACHING *
* BE SPECIAL FOR GOD *
YOU CANNOT RUSH THIS BECAUSE FATHER WANTS THIS DONE RIGHT.
WALK IN HIS HOLY SPIRIT AND ABIDE
“IN CHRIST”.
Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for “SPECIAL” purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
YOU MUST BUILD YOUR LIFE WISELY ON THE FOUNDSTION OF CHRIST…
For no one can lay any “FOUNDATION” other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
