Matthew 7:7-11
Amplifed….

“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

“For everyone who keeps on asking recieves,
and he who keeps on seeking finds, and he who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.

“Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will (instead) give him a stone?

“Or if he asks for a fish, will (instead) give him a snake?

“If you then, evil (sinful by nature) as you are,
know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven (perfect ss he is) give what is good and advantageous to those who keep on asking him.

*** THIS IS JESUS CHRIST TEACHING YOU ABOUT PERSISTENT, CONSTANT
PRAYER. ***

*** HE IS ALSO NULLIFYING THOSE WHO SAY “BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PRAY
FOR”. ***

*** THE WHOLE POINT TO WHAT JESUS IS SAYING IS “IF YOU DON’T QUIT PRAYING YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU ARE ASKING
FOR”. ***

*** IT WILL BE GOOD AND ADVANTAGEOUS
FOR YOU. ***

1 Timothy 2:5

For there is (only) one God, and (only) one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

*** FATHER GOD HAS DETERMINED THAT ALL MANKIND MUST HAVE A MEDIATOR TO COME BEFORE HIM. ***

*** WITH THAT SAID….HE IS THE ONLY MEDIATOR YOU NEED, AS NO OTHER WILL BE EXCEPTED. ***

*** IF YOU THINK ABOUT THIS…..IT SIMPLIFIES YOUR LIFE COMPLETELY. ***

*** YOU DON’T NEED ANYONE ELSE TO RECOMEND YOU TO GOD’S FAVOR. ***

*** YOU DO NOT NEED TO PLEASE ANYONE ELSE TO GET YOUR ANSWER FROM FATHER
GOD. ***

*** THE ONE WHO DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU IS ENOUGH, YOU CAN’T DO ANY BETTER THAN HIM. ***

*** YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM THE HEAD OF ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER. ***

*** JESUS HAS RECOMENDED YOU FOR FAVOR WITH HIS FATHER….HE PUTS HIS NAME OUT THERE FOR YOU. ***

WHAT CAN I SAY?…..

*** COME BOLDLY BEFORE THE THRONE OF GRACE TO FIND MERCY AND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED. ***

Micah 6:6-8
Amplifed….

With what shall I come before the Lord (to honor him), and bow myself before God on high?

Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with yearling calves?

Will the Lord be delighted with thousands of rams, or with ten thousand rivers of oil?

Shall I present my firstborn for my acts of rebellion, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you

Except to be just, and to love (and to diligently practice) kindness (compassion),
and to walk humbly with your God (setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteous)?

*** GOD IS SAYING “DO NOT TRY TO PLEASE ME WITH YOUR OFFERINGS OF WEALTH. **

*** DO NOT TRY TO OFFER ME YOUR CHILDREN FOR YOUR REBELLION! ***

*** JESUS CHRIST IS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THE RICHES YOU CAN BRING HIM. ***

*** YOUR 10% IS NOT MOVING THE HAND OF GOD OR THAT HE NEEDS IT AT ALL. **

I CAN SEE ALL THIS IN THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT….JESUS CHRIST BRINGING OUT WHAT FATHER GOD REALLY WANTS HIS CHILDREN TO DO.

WOULD YOU PRAY?

*** SHOW ME TO DO JUSTICE RIGHT
NOW. ***

*** SHOW ME GOD HOW TO LOVE
MERCY. ***

*** TEACH ME TO WALK HUMBLY WITH YOU MY FATHER. ***

I watched the almost 4 hour movie “KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON”. Totally well made
movie from the book of the same name. Martin Scorsese really went the extra mile in getting a realistic portrayal of the systematic murders of oil rich Osage men and women.

I knew before I went that this was going to be disturbing to me as a Native Man. I appreciated that many Osage were in the movie and it helped immensely.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone as husband and wife carried much of the movie.
DiCaprio as Ernest was brilliant in bringing out the weak conflicted man that loves his wife but yet is poisoning her (Molly) to get her money.

De Niro was the devil himself as William Hail.
The way he convinced people to kill Indians for their money and channel it to him was truly believable. Was so sad is that all this is a true story that actually happened to real people in the 1920s.

The book by David Grann is better if you want to get closer to real truth about our history.
David Grann’s interview on PBS about his book is even more revealing.

This is an important film that I encourage everyone to see. Christians need to see this
Movie to help understand more about Native People. If you are a Native Person this will be hard to watch, but the story needs to be told.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world (any longer with its superficial values and customs), but be transformed and progressively changed (as you mature spiritually) by the renewing of your mind (focusing on Godly values and ethical attitudes), so that you may prove (for yourselves), what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect
(In his plan and purpose for you).

*** WHAT IS CALLED A SUCCESS IN AMERICA DOES “NOT” HAVE GOD’S APPROVAL . THEY GIVE IT AN “A” BUT GOD GRADES IT AN “F”. ***

*** WE NEED TRANSFORMATION IN OUR MINDS…..OUT WITH THE WORLD, AND IN WITH THE KINGDOM. ***

*** OUR MINDS MUST BE RENEWED. ***

*** THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN RECOGNIZE THE WILL OF GOD FOR OUR LIVES. ***

*** THE GOOD, AND ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR YOU TO LIVE. ***

*** THIS IS THE “ABUNDANT LIFE JESUS CAME TO GIVE US”. ***

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT PEOPLE CALL YOU. IT DOES MATTER MORE WHAT YOU CALL YOURSELF. WHAT REALLY IS IMPORTANT IS WHAT GOD CALLS YOU.

Colossians 2:6-10

Therefore as you as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in (union with) and now being continually built up in him and (becoming increasingly more) established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception
(pseudo-intellectual babble),

according to the tradition (and musings) of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following
(the truth—–the teachings of) Christ.

For in him all the fullness of Deity (the Godhead) dwells in bodily form (completely
expressing the divine essence of God).

And in him you have been made complete
(achieving spiritual stature through Christ),
and he is the head over all rule and authority
(of every angelic and earthly power).
