I watched the almost 4 hour movie “KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON”. Totally well made
movie from the book of the same name. Martin Scorsese really went the extra mile in getting a realistic portrayal of the systematic murders of oil rich Osage men and women.

I knew before I went that this was going to be disturbing to me as a Native Man. I appreciated that many Osage were in the movie and it helped immensely.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone as husband and wife carried much of the movie.
DiCaprio as Ernest was brilliant in bringing out the weak conflicted man that loves his wife but yet is poisoning her (Molly) to get her money.

De Niro was the devil himself as William Hail.
The way he convinced people to kill Indians for their money and channel it to him was truly believable. Was so sad is that all this is a true story that actually happened to real people in the 1920s.

The book by David Grann is better if you want to get closer to real truth about our history.
David Grann’s interview on PBS about his book is even more revealing.

This is an important film that I encourage everyone to see. Christians need to see this
Movie to help understand more about Native People. If you are a Native Person this will be hard to watch, but the story needs to be told.

*** STORMS ARE GOING TO COME IN YOUR LIFE. ***

*** JESUS IS NOT WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CONFIRM HIS TEACHING. ***

*** PICTURE HIM LEADING THEM INTO A NEW FIELD WITH PLENTY OF FOOD AND FRESH WATER. ***

*** HE KNOWS EACH ONE IN THE FLOCK VERY GOOD, BY NAME AND PERSONAL EMOTIONAL MAKEUP. ***

*** THINK OF SOMEONE OR SOMETHING TRYING TO SNATCH ONE OF THE SHEEP FROM THE “GOOD SHEPHERD “. ***

*** THE FATHER GOD HIMSELF GAVE JESUS THE SHEEP TO CARE FOR. ***

*** THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN ALL; AND
NO ONE IS ABLE TO SNATCH YOU OUT OF HIS HAND. ***

*** DO YOU HEAR JESUS SPEAKING TO YOU? DOES HE KNOW YOU PERSONALLY?
DO YOU FOLLOW HIM? ***

Matthew chapters 5,6,7, is the “LORD JESUS CHRIST’S powerful teaching on who he will let into heaven. Those who obey and do his teaching will make it. Those who do not obey his directives and do them will not.

He taught his followers his manifesto then as he is showing us right now. He spoke this out with absolute authority because he is authority…..it is his kingdom to give or deny.

“I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE AND NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME”

Either you build your life on the sand (no foundation) or the rock (solid foundation).

FOCUS YOUR LIFE ON DOING THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT AND BE BUILT UPON THE ROCK OF JESUS CHRIST !
