John 10:11-13
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep.
So when he sees the wolf comming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
* Jesus is the good shepherd *
* He gave his life for us *
* The hired hand is there for the money *
* We belong to Jesus *
* The hired hand does not own us *
* The hired hand runs from danger *
* He abandons you in time of need *
* The hired hand does not care about you
* He says…”you’re on your own” *
* He runs to save his own skin *
Jesus never abandons you when the need is great. Life exposes motives over time and through circumstances.
We are all learning who we can depend on. Jesus is the foundation for a life that can’t be shaken. He is true and trustworthy at all times. God is the one that is worthy of our deepest trust.
* There is a difference in the lives of people who trust in the Lord *
* From those who trust in men *
* One is protected by the good shepherd*
* The other is scattered and wolf eaten *
Follow Jesus and find an abundant life of
* PROTECTION *
* FAVOR *
* LOVE *
* PEACE *
* ETERNAL LIFE *
* FORGIVENESS *
* STABILITY *
* FRUITFULNESS *
* ALL GOD’S PROMISES *
* EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING *
It all opens up “IN CHRIST”…..
