“I said to the arrogant, do not boast; and to the wicked, “do not lift up the horn (of self-
Glorification) .

Do not lift up your (defiant and aggressive) horn on high, do not speak with a stiff neck.”

For not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert comes exaltation.

But God is the judge; he puts down one and lifts up another.

*** DEFIANTLY AND AGGRESSIVELY, THEY SPEAK WITH A STIFF NECK. ***

*** YOUR EXALTATION BROTHERS AND SISTERS COMES FROM THE LORD
ONLY. ***

*** GOD IS THE JUDGE, HE LOOKS ON ALL YOUR SITUATION AND YOUR HEART TO BRING ABOUT HIS RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMEMT. ***

*** IN HIS SOVEREIGNTY HE PUTS ONE DOWN AND LIFTS UP ANOTHER. ***

*** KEEP THINGS RIGHT WITH HIM AND HE WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR YOU. ***

*** HIS FAVOR WILL LIFT YOU UP ABOVE YOUR ENEMIES. ***
