Mark 4:37-40

And a fierce windstorm began to blow, and waves were breaking over the boat, so that it was already being swamped.

But Jesus was in the stern, asleep (with his head) on the (sailor’s leather) cushion. And they woke him and said to him and said to him “Teacher, do you not care that we are about to die?”

And he got up and (sternly) rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “hush, be still (muzzled)!”
And the wind died down (as if it had grown weary) and there was (at once) a great calm
(a perfect peacefulness).

Jesus said to them, “why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence (in me)?”

*** WE NEED JESUS TO GET UP AND REBUKE THE PERSONAL STORM WE ARE FACING. ***

*** HE IS SAYING FOR YOU RIGHT NOW TO YOUR STORM, YOUR SITUATION, “PEACE BE STILL” ! ***

*** HE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE TROUBLED AND AFRAID. HE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE DOWN ON YOURSELF. ***

*** HE WANTS YOU TO HAVE CONFIDENCE IN HIM….THAT HE WILL COME THROUGH FOR YOU AND CALM THE STORM. ***

*** THERE IS A GREAT CALM FOR YOU, A PERFECT PEACEFULNESS. ***

*** THINK ABOUT HIM RIGHT NOW AND ASK HIM TO CALM “IT” DOWN FOR YOU. ***

*** I CAN HEAR HIM SAYING….”MY VERY OWN SPECIAL PEACE I GIVE TO YOU.” ***

*** GIVE HIM HONOR AND PRAISE AS HE COMES THROUGH FOR YOU AND REJOICE IN THE PEACE OF MIND HE BRINGS TO YOU BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE FOR YOU. ***
